Spring is your time for growth and renewal: Ready to set your intentions?
Sep 11, 2024Embracing Spring: A season of growth and renewal.
It’s been a wild and woolly start to the new season here in Australia. How have my Aussie friends been coping with the crazy winds over the past few days? I hope you’re all safe and cozy, wherever you are. Same for all my international friends too.
Spring is all about growth and renewal, and I’ve set some pretty lofty intentions to reenergise and recharge myself for this season and the seasons ahead. As you know, I’ve been in a significant period of change, and while I’m absolutely loving my new seaside sanctuary lifestyle, I’ve been feeling a little unsettled in some of the day-to-day elements. It’s a bit of a paradox—I’m exactly where I want to be, yet there’s a sense of unease that I can’t quite put my finger on.
I’m working through my own process of understanding what this unsettled feeling is about, and as always, I’m inviting you to join me on this journey of self-discovery. It’s all part of the growth and renewal that comes with change. Sometimes, even when we manifest our deepest desires, the process of settling into those new realities can stir up unexpected emotions.
It’s a reminder that growth isn’t always a straight line—it can be a bit of a zigzag, with moments of clarity followed by moments of confusion. This season, I’m embracing both the beauty and the challenges that come with change, trusting that everything will fall into place as it’s meant to.
As I navigate this, I’m finding that asking myself a stack of questions and setting intentions for growth are helping me stay grounded. So, this week, I’d like to share some reflections and insights that have been guiding me through this period of change. I hope they inspire you to embrace the growth and renewal that Spring offers.
1 Thing to Think About:
Spring is a time when nature wakes up, and everything starts to bloom again. Think about how this season of growth can mirror your own life.
- What areas of your life are ready to bloom? Where can you invite more energy, creativity, and vitality?
1 Thing to Ask Yourself:
- Am I holding onto anything that’s preventing me from growing?
Whether it’s an old habit, a limiting belief, or even a relationship that no longer serves you—ask yourself if it’s time to let go so that you can make space for new growth.
1 Thing to Experiment With:
- This week, try planting seeds of intention—literally or metaphorically!
You might plant some flowers or herbs in your garden as a reminder of your intentions for the season. Or, you could write down your goals and dreams for Spring on paper and place them somewhere you’ll see them every day. Watch how your intentions start to take root and grow.
And if you’re on the other side of the world, these reflection questions will also work for you, just remove the word Spring and they will have just as much meaning.
As I settle into this new season, I’m focusing on recharging my energy, reconnecting with what truly matters to me, and allowing myself to grow in ways I haven’t before. I’m trusting the process, knowing that just like the gorgeous flowers, I’m exactly where I need to be to blossom
If you’ve been going through your own season of change, remember that growth doesn’t happen overnight. Be patient and kind to yourself, nurture your dreams, and give yourself the space to grow at your own pace.
And if you’d like some extra support as you navigate this season of change, I’m here to help.
